Local Street Gazetteer
AAL Systems have a complete LPG system that includes the Land and Property Gazetteer
and Local street Gazetteer. The system is fully compliant with BS7666:2006 and is also fully compliant
with the necessary procedures to enable the authority to carry out integrity checks on the data,
upload full and change only updates to the National LPG Hub, and full updates to the NSG Hub.
The system will also import DTF7.3 point data.
The LPG system runs with AAL Systems evoAPP program, and enables the users to fully maintain the database.
One innovative procedure available to the users of this system who also have access to
AAL Systems Corporate Geometry database is to utilise DNF procedures and
associate the LPG polygons to the Mastermap FIDs or in the case of the streets
to the ITN identifiers – so creating an corporate geometry/address database.
There are facilities incorporated within the program to enable batch cleaning of existing polygons to the cgd database.
It is recommended that our LPG is FULLY utilised and polygons to define all the
addresses/streets are carried out to create the basis of a true corporate referencing system.
